What you can expect in a day in this role: 

We’re looking for experienced Food & Beverage staff to join our team over the peak summer season. This could include working for our Conference and Events team serving Christmas lunch and working corporate functions, Waitstaff for our Longhorn Restaurant or serving drinks in our bars across the venue.

You’ll also be tasked with working together as a close knit team to provide a seamless experience for our guests. Prioritise a safe working environment, upholding our "safety first" business culture. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements, and adhere to our business policies.

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Proven experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role is advantageous.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation, or the ability to obtain.
  • Availability to work across a range of shifts, including day and night events that may be rostered on weekdays as well as weekends and public holidays through the busy season.

Please note we will be holding an group style interview for these roles on Wednesday 14 August 2024 from 11am – 12.30pm at Wrest Point.

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
