Situated on the River Derwent our Smokehouse offers a slow-cooked BBQ inspired menu in a laid-back space that’s just as enticing as our water views. What you can expect in a day in this role: 

Lead our exceptional team at the Longhorn Smokehouse, no two days will be the same, but you can expect to;

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth running of Longhorn Smokehouse
  • Ensure excellent customer service and address guest requirements promptly
  • Manage and support the team, fostering a positive work environment
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
  • Maintain health and safety standards to ensure a safe dining experience

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a busy team
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
  • Current Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation, or the ability to obtain

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
